Nervous System

The nervous system is vital in providing a connection to how you feel.  There are two ways in which you can feel via the nervous system—physically and mentally.

The physical way of feeling occurs via your pain and pleasure response and is a secondary point of awareness. However, when it comes to your mental feeling sense, then a much deeper and more complex experience happens.  This is because of emotions realized in your primary point—your mind.

The nervous system is subject to stress because of excess stimulation.  When this happens you hear phrases like, “I am fried” or “My nerves are shot,” and so on!

Despite the advances of technology, seeing a tree on a computer screen does not feel the same as a real tree.  Computer games have a different affect on your nervous system than playing games outdoors.  Moderation is the key to managing stress with technology.

The nervous system is also subject to anxiety and depression.  When the nervous system is anxious it is shaky, and when depressed it is achy. Stress, anxiety, and depression can be changed by dissolving compartments. It is through detachment of mind and by entering into more harmonious states of mind that you can calm and balance the nervous system.
