Step One: Approximately two minutes.
Sit down, get comfortable, and begin relaxing brain activity. Mentally feel the conscious awareness at the top of the head and mentally relax this horizontal plane of awareness through both hemispheres of the brain, ultimately settling at the surface of the mind. At the surface of the mind, be consciously relaxed, but not thinking.
Step Two: Approximately three minutes.
After relaxing at the surface of the mind, mentally allow the conscious awareness to drop below the surface of the mind, to a still point within the greater Kelee. The goal is to let go of sense consciousness and experience total stillness for about three minutes.
Note: Before dropping from the surface of the mind, one sets one’s biological clock to come back to complete awareness in about three minutes.
Step Three: Approximately five minutes.
After experiencing stillness, return to full consciousness at the surface of the mind and reflect on what one noticed about one’s practice. Do not bolt into the day. The goal is to do the Practice for ten minutes in the morning and evening to the best of one’s ability and get into the experience of life.
Recommendation: Keep a journal to record experiences and progress. One may think one will remember everything, but many subtle gems of wisdom and growth will be forgotten.
This is for teachers and students as a guide, what to say to other’s or yourself when doing the practice until you have this mastered.
Mentally feel your conscious awareness at the top of your head and begin relaxing your CA down through both hemisphere’s of your brain down to the surface of the mind at eye level. This should be about 2-3 minutes. Now feel your CA drop down into the greater Kelee to a still point and remain as still as you can for about 3-4 minutes. Then at the end of the practice, please come back to full awareness at the surface of the mind and open your eyes.
This is a guide to help you, with extreme importance on mentally feeling your conscious awareness in mind. Not visualizing.
