Kelee Definition
The word Kelee in Hebrew is skeuos (pronounced skeu=ov) and means
vessel or anything which may be considered as a receptacle. This is
of course what the Kelee is, a receptacle of life experience.
The
word Kelee translated from Hebrew into English means, "Which pertains
to and rightly so!" The Kelee pertains to everyone because we all
have one; we have all felt emotion well up from within and rightly so.
Our emotions are the different states of mind found in the Kelee. The
word Kelee in Hebrew can also mean, "man's armor." The energy
of the Kelee is what protects us and keeps us healthy. It is our electrochemical
shield associated with the immune system.
The word Kelee in Greek is also skeuos which means vessel. In Greek
skeuos is a metaphor for either a man of quality or an assistant in
an evil deed. This is the proverbial light of awareness (from our spirit)
or the darkness of unknowing (from the misperceptions of negative issues).
The
Kelee Meditation Practice
Students just call it The Practice.
"It's the simplicity
of stillness
that unravels the complexity
of compartments."
The Kelee is what distinguishes this meditation from all others.
The Kelee Meditation Practice is based on stillness of mind. Stillness
within your Kelee strengthens your conscious awareness which allows
for mental and physical healing.
The first part of The Practice, about two minutes, calms your brain network, reducing brain chatter and
tension from stress.
In the second part of The Practice, about
2-3 minutes, you become still within your
greater Kelee where your emotional issues reside. Stilling your mind
in your greater Kelee, strengthens your mind and allows for mental and physical healing.
By
learning to sit down for a several minutes each day to still your mind,
you will find what everyone is looking for—a life to be enjoyed.
