Your cardiovascular system has both a physical and a mental component. When you talk about your heart, you do not segregate it to just the physical heart. There is also your heart associated with emotions. The brain is more associated with your physical heart, whereas your mind has more to do with emotions that can affect your heart.
Have you ever heard the phrases, “My heart just sank”or “My heart is heavy”? When this happens, emotions can affect your physical heart. Have you ever had a compartmentalized fear that is not a fight-or-flight type of fear (i.e., being chased by a bear) make your heart race? Learning to not fear non fight-or-flight fears (i.e., compartments) is an effect of Kelee meditation.
There is an intimate connection between how the emotions of the mind can affect the physical heart. It is a known fact that stress can affect the heart in physical ways. With Kelee meditation, the mind can calm stress on command. When you pay attention, you will notice that when your heart is warm with beautiful emotion, your physical heart feels healthier.
A happy heart is what supports the physical heart and can do wonders for your entire being, and that feeling is felt in the greater Kelee.
